Beginning in January 2020, Hong Kong schools have undergone school suspension for several months. During this time, teachers have used different strategies to enable students to learn at home. The new school year will start in September, but there will be no face-to-face teaching yet. This will be a challenge especially to Primary 1 and Secondary 1 students. It will be even more challenging for cross-cultural as well as cross-border students. How can students start the new semester smoothly under various constraints? CACLER has invited Principal Lau Wai Chun and Principal Lai Chun Wing to share their strategies for supporting these students in the transition to the new semester.
They will be consolidating good practices to inspire learning and teaching in the New Normal. All schools leaders and frontline teachers are welcome to this sharing and knowledge exchange.
